FREMAP is committed, in accordance with its Mission, Vision and Values, to maintain and improve its management model based on ongoing improvement and innovation, the key factors of which are excellence of service in management, within the prevailing legislative framework.
The Quality Policy the aim of this policy is to establish the principles of action guiding FREMAP in the accomplishment of its strategic objectives, enabling it to be a benchmark institution and meet the expectations and cater for the interests of its main stakeholders.
To support the Policy, FREMAP has a Management System, driven by Management, which contributes a systematic approach to daily activities. As a reference to establish, introduce and improve this Management System, standard UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 is adhered to.
Certificates and accreditations
Since 1996, FREMAP has had a Quality Management System, certified by Aenor and compliant with Standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, which encompasses all of FREMAP's activities and centres (outpatient, inpatient and administrative) throughout Spain.
FREMAP has developed its Management System based on the EFQM European Excellence Model and has received the highest level of European Excellence 500+ certification since 2006 for all its out-patient, hospital and administrative centres throughout Spain.
FREMAP's certification was renewed in February 2018. Following its assessment, it now has a score within the 575-625 points range, which has only been achieved by a few companies in Spain.
FREMAP tells, from 2001, with the Brand of Guarantee MADRID EXCELENTE , once accredited the fulfillment of the quality criteria and excellence, demanded by this brand.
In 2008, FREMAP received the Madrid Excelente Award for customer trust in the Large Enterprise category.
Since 2000, FREMAP has had a Management System integrating environmental issues, certified by AENOR and compliant with Standard UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004, which encompasses all of FREMAP's activities and centres (outpatient, inpatient and administrative) throughout Spain.
Since 2018, FREMAP has had an Information Security Management System, certified by Aenor and compliant with Standard UNE-ISO/IEC 27001:2013, which encompasses all of FREMAP's activities and centres (outpatient, inpatient and administrative) throughout Spain.
FREMAP obtains the Bequal Certificate in its PLUS category once again in March 2018, recognising the inclusive policies and improvements introduced since the previous certification in 2014 in relation to people with disabilities. Fundación Bequal recognises in this way the procedures and policies in favour of equal opportunities and non-discrimination of people with disabilities and, furthermore, FREMAP's commitment to the improvement and increase of the levels and quality of employment for people with disabilities.
The Bequal certificate verifies not only the legal compliance of companies, such as the legal quota of reserving 2% of jobs for companies with more than 50 workers, but also the integration of disability-inclusive policies in different areas of the company. These are policies and procedures which facilitate the incorporation of people with disabilities into these companies.
Since 2003, FREMAP has drawn up its Annual Sustainability and Corporate Governance Report in accordance with the criteria established in Global Reporting Initiative, the strictest international standard for sustainability reports, and had it duly verified by an independent firm.
The FREMAP Dimensional Metrology Laboratory belongs to the Professional Retraining Service and has been accredited by ENAC (the Spanish Accreditation Entity) since 1995, under reference number: 11/LC10.004 for performing calibrations in the lab and on site in the Spanish industry, in accordance with standard UNE EN ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements regarding responsibilities in testing and calibration laboratories". It also belongs to the RLA (Madrid Laboratories Network), with number 186.
To comply with Prevention Act 31/1995 and Prevention Services Regulation 39/1997, the FREMAP Prevention System undergoes an external audit every four years.
