Complaints and claims

Claims can be submitted:

  • There are official Complaint Forms in all FREMAP Centres.

    Submitted claims are processed and answered directly by the Mutual Society and reported to the Directorate General of Social Security Organisation. Article 99.1 of Legislative Royal Decree 8/2015, of 30 October, which approves the General Law on Social Security.

    An online claims office accessible by the public to manage complaints by workers about how mutual societies handle complaints. The Ministry centralises the claims it receives and sends them to the corresponding mutual society so that this entity can provide a response that, subsequently, the Ministry communicates to the citizen.

Claims are complaints of an administrative nature with regard to the service provided by the Mutual Society, and they are different from claims subject to legal action, which are litigated by the Courts of Justice.​​​​
